Terms of Service

Last updated:

These terms cover your use of StyleDUI at styledui.com. By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who we are

StyleDUI is a product run by an individual developer (“we”, “us”). The only public contact is contact@styledui.com. Our legal name for contract purposes is still to be confirmed; see the placeholder at the top of this page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you use StyleDUI for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf. You must not use the service if you have been barred from doing so by law.

3. Accounts

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reporting a share link

Saved share pages have a “Report” control. You can also email contact@styledui.com with the link. We may disable a share link, or remove content, that breaks these terms, with or without notice.

5. Plans, billing and refunds

6. Ownership and the licence for exported code

Your work

You own your briefs, your project content, and the code you export, subject to the licence below for the StyleDUI-authored parts that the export contains. We do not claim ownership of your product, your text, your brand or your changes.

What an export contains

An export is a standalone project. Besides files generated for your design (the page, its content data, design tokens), it contains copies of StyleDUI catalog components and small helper files, exactly as they were used to render your design. We call these the catalog source copies.

Licence to the catalog source copies

We grant you a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell the catalog source copies as part of your own projects, commercial or not, under terms equivalent to the MIT licence, and this licence stays with you after you cancel Pro. This does not let you publish the catalog itself, or a substantial part of it detached from a real project, as a competing library or template collection.

Third-party packages

Exports list open-source dependencies such as Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS in package.json. They are licensed by their own authors under their own terms, not by us.

Our service and design system

Apart from what the licence above grants, we keep all rights in the service, the catalog, the engine, the brand and the site. Designs you share through a share link may be viewed by anyone with the link.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

7. AI-assisted output

Some steps, such as reading your brief, writing sample copy and naming directions, may use AI models. AI output can be wrong, generic, or similar to other people's output. It is provided as a starting point, not as advice. You are responsible for checking anything you use, including text, colour contrast, accessibility, and licences of anything you add. Exported code is generated software with placeholder data and no business logic; review and test it before shipping.

8. Availability and changes

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that designs or exported code are error-free, fit for a particular purpose, accessible to everyone, or free of third-party rights.

10. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for anything arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

11. Suspension and termination

12. Governing law and disputes

[Governing law / jurisdiction — to be confirmed]

Until the governing law is confirmed, nothing here removes protections that mandatory consumer law gives you where you live.

13. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Contact
